Baby with congenital disease from Dubai to Amritha

Kochi: Six month old baby, suffering from serious congenital heart, lung and brain problems was flown from Dubai to Amritha providing
ventilator facility within the plane itself.

The child was born to Mrs. Sheeja, who works a nurse in a private hospital in Dubai and Mr. Shanavas, natives of Pathanamthitta.

The baby travelled 4 hours from Dubai and reached Nedumbasseri at 9'o'clock in the morning. From there he was taken to the hospital in
the ventilator facilitated ambulance. The baby is given speciality treatment under the leadership of Dr. P.K.Rajiv, the head of the
neonatal department.

The baby weighed only 980gms at birth. now it has increased to 3.25kgs.The baby was treated at Alwasl ospital in Dubai for the last 4
months, but since baby showed no improvement, was shifted to Amrutha.

Eventhough the condition of the baby is serious,all possibilities for life saving is looked forward to.everything is getting readied
for conducting a surgery within 2 days.Dr.Mathew,Dr,Omkar are also among the medical team.
